687868 2008-07-11 06:42:00 sounds like you have not installed video card drivers.
install motherboard drivers. then video card drivers. then drivers for any other device you have (modem, sound card etc).

687870 2008-07-11 22:20:00 try here (www.download.com) gary67 (56)
687871 2008-07-11 22:57:00 This link (ascent.co.nz) says that it only supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista, not 98.

You'll need to upgrade your OS from 98 if you want it to work with more than 640x480x16 colours (there are no drivers for W98 supplied with that motherboard) - XP is most likely the best option for that motherboard - you can download XP drivers from the Asus website if you don't have the original driver CD..

687872 2008-07-11 23:25:00 Thanks Tweak'e Jwil1 and Gary67 for information
Look as if win 98se problem can not be solved to change VGA display
from 640x480 16 color
Thanks

687873 2008-07-11 23:29:00 As mentioned above the oldest OS that the board supports is windows 2000.

The Graphics on that board use Nvidia 6100 , you can try downlaoding the Nvidia 6100 series graphic card drivers from HERE (www.nvidia.com) - BUT WARNING - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK- if installed they may not be compatible and you will have boot up / running problems and need to completely reinstall again - best option is to purchase a OEM copy of XP.
