| 687260 | 2008-07-09 22:55:00 | My Hp Pavillion a645c doesn't recognize audio CD's, DVD's, nor game CD's. Whenever I try to fix it by going to the control panel it says that "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." My task manager has the same effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | aniloracman3 (13950) | ||

| 687263 | 2008-07-21 19:02:00 | I recently had my computer worked on by a guy who fixed it, but I assume that he put himself as the system administrator. Is there anyway to change that to myself? | aniloracman3 (13950) | ||
| 687264 | 2008-07-21 19:23:00 | Only if you can log into an administrator account as you need to be administrator to do that | gary67 (56) | ||

| 687267 | 2008-07-22 04:43:00 | "My Computer" reads: Files Stored on this Computer:Shared Documents Owner's Documents. Hard Disk Drives:HP_Pavillion (C) HP_Recovery(D:) Devices with Removable Storage:Removable Disk (H:) " "(I:) " "(J:) " "(K) Other: My Sharing Folders I don't know if this helps or whatever, I appologize for being so technically inaccurate and not tech savvy. |
