IMO I suspect it is a Narcissistic Personality Disorder (actually a few members here might benefit from reading this webpage (samvak.tripod.com) too). As for the Germans? Well they are a funny lot anyway - I mean anyone who is into scatology (have you seen any of their {cough} *entertainment* videos?) has a pretty warped sense of reality, just like Hoff I suppose....birds of a feather....
