Neither of my daughters is allowed to donate for that reason as well.

428394 2006-02-11 04:25:00 I donated TWICE about 2 years ago. Thats all. That was when i was in highschool, when they came around every half-year or so to ask for blood. After that, I went to uni, and I was too lazy to look for places to donate blood. Though I really should... because one day, I might need blood myself. SidT (9191)

After reading some of the posts I decided to finally volunteer to donate plasma/platelets, but they won't start new donors over 60! :annoyed:
