| 428911 | 2006-02-21 03:49:00 | Anyone else watched LOST season 2, first episode on TV3? You may have wondered what happened between Kate being abducted and Jack finding Locke??? Edited out!! I just watched the American version - and boy! there was a lot that was cut out. It looks as if episode 1 and parts of episode 2 were edited together to make an advert riddled premiere episode. That sucks. Sounds like what BBC TV did to HBO's Rome last year. Made the first two 50 min eps into one 60 min ep by leaving in the sex and violece and removing the Roman politics because they thought that British viewers would not be interested. Sure hope that TVNZ dosn't do the same.. |

| 428912 | 2006-02-21 03:52:00 | The first 6 episodes I downloaded are all between 41:52 and 42:29 with all ads removed. Did that include the end credits?? |

| 428914 | 2006-02-21 19:30:00 | Are you really interested in Roman politics? Yes actually.. From a point of history. But wait ...They don't teach history at school these days do they.. unless it's the modern PC version.. |

| 428915 | 2006-02-21 22:24:00 | Can I just add to the Roman thread that I found out recently the romans had a place called a "vomitorium" No kidding. they would eat their dinner and then vomit it up so they could eat more, the true bulimics. Maybe we could have a vomitorium in wellington for some of the more disagreable speaches. |
