687364 2008-07-11 06:36:00 You said you updated the BIOS - update you flash it.

If you didnt reset the settings do it now and reconfigure the settings in the BIOS. Then save the settings

687369 2008-07-22 01:09:00 Yup if thats your motherboard

If the BIOS has a default setting option just set it at that, and save the settings.

Just make sure whatever (like USB 2, in the BIOS, if its got it, is on the higher speed)

And make sure firewire, LAN, sound are enabled in the BIOS

687370 2008-07-22 01:26:00 I dont think this has anything to do with the BIOS....shouldnt be advising noob's to flash their BIOS as this is an extreme measure....I would try uninstalling the video drivers and trying a different version, maybe even older drivers.... SolMiester (139)

687372 2008-07-22 05:40:00 I think you may need to get someone who can define what the problem actually is...

The descriptions you are giving are very vague and could be pointing to so many different things you may end up doing more damage than good
(especially things like flashing the bios!)
