| 687270 | 2008-07-23 02:57:00 | Use trojan remover install it update it then scan, then select all options under the utilities menu | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 687271 | 2008-07-23 10:38:00 | so "the guy" obviously didn't fix it much then.... Anyway, if you still can't get the control panel after running trojan remover, download this reg file (www.kellys-korner-xp.com) and double click to run - say yes you want to merge in the registry when it asks and then your control panel should be back to nornal. Right click the link and select "save as" to your desktop. If you left click it will only show you the text... |

| 687274 | 2008-07-24 04:34:00 | I didn't run Hijackthis, but I looked elsewhere and it said to run regedit and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. It then said to delete lower and upper filters which I then deleted one upper and one lower. I rebooted and they still don't work:(. I now have default, class, enumproppages32, icon, installer32, noinstallclass, silentinstallclass, and troubleshooter0 in my registry. Should I delete anythingelse? I also tried to uninstall and then reinstall, but to no avail. In my device manager, both my drives have a yellow exclamation point next to them and say: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" | aniloracman3 (13950) | ||
