STi, I would like to apologise on behalf of Pressf1 for the behaviour or Eric, I have no idea what he is trying to achive, and hopefully someone can offer up some relivant info rather then trying to berate people for asking a question, There are a number of TV techs who post here who should be able to help.

ho man, all the dogs with there fake names are coming out today for a cheap bite.

what is your blood problem mate?

the TV as I undersatnd it trys to turn on after a few seconds it shuts down and turns off going into standby mode .

now that indicates there is a fault inside the set, anyone with this problem can do one of two things, try and fix it themselves or get advice from there local TV repair shop near were they live, thats all my first posting basicly sad, what more are you after .

427150 2006-02-05 02:33:00 I take it, you are not a TV Serviceperson,

If you were, you would know it is shuting down due to a fault protection, if you take the back off to try and fix it yourself, when you are finished and if it still does not work, dump it in the bin, and buy another cheap one .

TV service people do not need someone elses "ex repair abortion" to make their day, they have enough other problems with other genuine repairs that their customers have not $$$$$$ with .

Maybe you should read your first post again, how would you like to recieve a reply like that if It was you asking the question ??

427151 2006-02-05 02:34:00 Now now, kiddies . School will start again soon, and you can go back to bullying the small kids .

Eric, shouting doesn't help . An aloof restraint in the face of perceived provocation will get more respect . If you don't like someone's postings, there is an\ very useful "Ignore" list you can add names to . ;)

Eric did give the only piece of real advice . It does indeed look as if there's an overload shutting the power supply down . That's not a good candidate for home repairs .

427152 2006-02-05 02:37:00 What a mess.

Eric, you got told to take a break and leave it alone. I explained this further in my Private Message to you. This time you are getting an enforced break of 24 hours from this forum.
