688638 2008-07-14 03:18:00 Ok I go to update my computer the normal way,I click on the windows update button or when I click on the microsoft update button as well,and this is what I get:

And these for the web:
FireFox 3,Safari,SeaMonkey,Opera.

Each one is the latest version as well.:thumbs:

You could try uninstalling Safari, run CCleaner and then try updating Windows and see if that helps...:confused:

It's obviously your call, but to me that's obsessive. I just use FF3.

My guess is for web development work - testing that websites work in all browsers.

Ok uninstalled Safari,ran CCleaner -(the Cleaner and the Registry options),rebooted and did Windows Update>>>still thinks I have a Mac,so I tryed the Microsoft Update>>>and..... IT WORKRD!!!

So: Windows Update :badpc:
Microsoft Update :thumbs:

Whats up with all this? :illogical

At least one works now I suppose and I can keep my os updated now.

Oh and Thank you Vitalstatistix for your suggestion and help it is much appreciated!!!

Wish I could still have Safari though!!!
