| 429487 | 2006-02-12 19:19:00 | The concensus seems to be that the best are made in Japan. Having looked at the small print on every brand I've seen in Wellington I had just about given up. But at last the search is over, Wellington Photographic Supplies have Fujifilm DVD-RW (made in Japan) in 5 packs for $11, not a bad price for a High St. shop. DVD Decrypter tells me these are JVC_VictorW7. I havn't found this listed anywhere. Martynz |

| 429489 | 2006-02-13 05:32:00 | Agreed. But until you've put the disk in your 'puter you don't know who manufactured it. All the "Made in Japan" disks are in the top category in that list so with no other info. it seems to be a reliable mark of quality. Martynz |

That may be so for little known brands, but the list supplied is a reliable indicator for the principal brand names, unless the buying price was "too good to be true", and we all know what that means.
