429467 2006-02-12 17:34:00 I've been reading several posts about DVD's and it's made me wonder.
I have a samsung CD/DVD player writer installed on my pc. It's actualy on it's third PC and is at least two years old.
I have no software installed for it.It came with a disk but never got installed.
The player does everything on drivers included in Win XP.
It reads and writes CD's and it plays DVD's . Don't know if it writes to a DVD.Never owned a writeable DVD disk.
As I see it a DVD is no Differant to a CD, except it holds more.
Can't understand why there always seems to be people looking for drivers and software for them.

This is not realy a question, just an observation.

The reason I use other software e.g Nero is to organize and compile my dvds and Nero is one of the commonly availble software that comes with most cd/dvd drives....

But isn't it easier to simply drag and drop a file than to spend time loading Nero and then getting it to put the file wherever you want it?

429470 2006-02-12 19:38:00 XP by default doesnt support burning to DVD .

And some people may want to edit whatever they burn to DVD, with Nerovision, if its a video .

You cant drag and drop everything to cd or dvd, and expect it to work . It wont .
