It all started Monday morning, and the story goes like this: 9:00 am: I read an article about Telecom's new broadband plans. 9:02 am: I check PF1 to see if anybody has posted it (no). 9:05 am: I write pithy comment about crap offer and link story. 9:06 am: Phone rings and I get into long business call. 9:16 am : Jacky posts same story. 9:25 am: I check PF1 again but forget to refresh browser screen (d'oh!) still no post. 9:26 am: Post new thread, browser refreshes, see Jacky's thread, answer brief phone call. 9:29 am: Edit thread to remove duplicate content, change title to explain why. You guys took it from there. :thumbs: It was fun while it lasted, and 565 reads/42 posts is not bad for a blank thread. :p Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |

| 429638 | 2006-02-14 22:15:00 | I like the dunking option myself, Chris. There are some subtlety and tension that a skilled prationer can draw out that, just can't be got with other methods. Gets a very good "OOoohh AAaahh!!!" rating. Also, while alway getting the job done, the lions can be a bit unreliable for pure malicious fun in that they often finish the job too soon, where's the entertainment in that. Mind, I hear that option is very popular in the US, all blood n guts, lots of action in a short space of time, cut to the ads, back to Opra or Reality Teens TV. Any other ideas out there? |

Jeez you're a hard man to please Murray . :eek: I did post a suggestion to look at the post times somewhere around post 28 or 29, 'snot my fault if you didn't drag your cursor to see if there was anything written in the blank space . As for unctuous, I reckon you could solve the world's oil crisis all on your own . Talk about white on white writing, how about Rob at post 5; Greg, posts 7 & 18; and Mr Unct himself at posts 12, 14 & 16 . :D I was a late starter . :p I see the post count is now approaching 50, and the reads are on their way to 700 so collectively we must be entertaining either one incredibly bored individual or a fair number of PF1ers who really oughta be working! :horrified Cheers Billy 8-{) |
