over the past two days my wireless router has started acting, at times the connection willnot connect, it detects the network but refuses to connect (takes 3 router reboots) and tonight, since its my dhcp server, its stopped assigning a default gateway, which is random.... is there any settings i shud change? |

Is this a wireless modem router or is it connected to an ADSL modem.
If you have an ADSL modem as well connect direct to it by ethernet cable to determine if the problem is with your wireless network or the broadband connection itself. |

i have a seperate adsl modem, the broadband conection is fine, is just the wireless |

Is there another LAN port on the modem you can connect the wireless router to just as a check. |

the modem itself one has one lan port and the wireless is using it. |
