688616 2008-07-14 02:01:00 I put four music files onto a CD-R. These were not large so would leave heaps of room the the CD. When I tried to add more files to the disk the message came up the the disk was not writeable. Can I in fact add more files to this disk? If so, how? Thanks all. Using Nero BTW. slofox (5767)
688617 2008-07-14 02:05:00 did you finalise the disc?
If you closed the session, you should be able to start a second one. If you finalised the disc, I dont think theres anything you can do.

The option to finalise or close session is in window that appears just before you click burn (on my version anyway, 6.6 i think)

688618 2008-07-14 02:07:00 Do a data cd. Otherwise it may finalise it after you burn the songs to the cd.

What exactly do you want to play them on after?

If youre going to do an audio / MP3 cd, burn all of them at once. Not one now then one later

688619 2008-07-14 02:20:00 Thanks all.....

I suspect it has finalised - I didn't check that before burning. No big deal.
These are just a couple of compilations for a single use - will be played on a standard CD player - won't need them again after next Saturday night. At least I know what to do next time....:thanks
