| 430766 | 2006-02-16 04:53:00 | Get full building report tonight. Its passed is all I know. Husbands a plumber anyway. And soon to be renovator and gardener..... Yes, the last owner also painted a wall in the lounge purple. Hmmm. A friend said if we pay his airfare and feed him and provide beer, he will paint the whole thing for us.... I'm thinking white outside. I like neutral. And yes, coal range thing works apparently. Has a normal oven too so I have plenty of time for practice. Yes back rooms are laundry, what used to be a loo with old copper cistern still, and a shed. Will probably make that a woodshed. I intend to try keeping my business down there.... |

| 430768 | 2006-02-16 05:07:00 | I'm thinking white outside. I like neutral.Ohh! Check out the heritage selections that many of the paint companies offer for inspiration. Example (www.resene.co.nz) I suspect the previous owner attempted this with the exterior, but didn't quite hit the nail on the head ... |

| 430770 | 2006-02-16 05:28:00 | I have downloaded tons of pics of other old places, lots of nice ideas. The best do seem to be white or something very pale with a dark trim - NOT all the way round the windows though. And snow - what snow? Thick frost you mean... |
