I have NZ vodafone SIM card...says service unavailable when I try to send, and Vodafone says the phone is probably not configured correctly for use in NZ..does anyone know how or why this is happening | Happy Harry (321) | ||

Under "web" in the menu.Go into it and in there find the correct names and input these settings Connection Name : Vodafone NZ Gateway Data bearer : Packet data or GPRS or WAP UserName : None ( leave it blank) Password : none ( leave it blank) Authentication : normal HomePage : http://live.vodafone.com Phone Ip address : automatic Proxy server address : 172.030.038.003 PRoxy port number : 8080 Under Messages Go into it and find the MMS message setup screen Access Point Name : live.vodafone.com Username and password : leave it blank Authentication : normal homepage : pxt.vodafone.net.nz proxy server address : 172.030.038.003 port number : 8080 Samsung and Nokia mobile are the easiset to configure while some motorola are a bit harder to configure. If you wish i can set it up for you if u post the mobile to me and pay for the courier charges back to you. private message me if you require any further help I've done alot of selling and all imported mobiles has to go thru the configuration phase by me Cheers |
