2006-02-17 17:55:00 | Just had a look in my gmail inbox. 7 pieces of spam. Ihug inbox no spam. I think gmail was a bit over-hyped. Now days I just use it for convenience, When I don't expect a reply. One thing that puzzles me is I have my gmail set up to transfer incomming mail to my OE inbox. This works fine but The spam mail never gets transferred. Is incomming gmail transferred to my OE box via IhuG? I would have thought it was just a local transfer done on my computer.

2006-02-18 04:52:00 | I have only had 1 piece of spam in my G-Mail account and that is since the start of October last year. Have you signed up for anything, put your address out on the net?

2006-02-18 06:43:00 | My gmail goes into my Outlook Express box, but I can't check it for spam. That's because I haven't used it since they sent me an email saying basically "use it or lose it" - and I can't remember where to find it. So maybe it's already gone... Anyone care to point me in the right direction to find out?

2006-02-18 07:26:00 | Thanks, Jack. Gmail has given me only 5 pieces of spam - interestingly all on either 11th or 13th February, for no reason that I understand. Compared with what I've had via Xtra recently, in spite of their filter, that's peanuts.

| 431735 | 2006-02-18 09:39:00 | With my Gmail account I get lots of spam. 99.9% of it goes into the spam folder It takes just two clicks to clear that folder.....Why so much spam....well I use Gmail for signing up to things online, forums, emailing lists etc.....So I expect some spam. I also have my ihug email and I have never had one piece of spam. (ihug email is for friends and family only) I was with xtra a long time back and I got so much spam I made the switch to ihug.
