Multiplying your turnover
Strategic niche marketing

I dug mine out of the garage the other day, currently it's up on trademe but I can always pull it.

I'd suggest you do an advertorial with your local rag, just rebranding, refocussing the business, that you still offer the same great services, price etc but without being tied to a shop you can offer more to the support side etc when that urgent job has to be done and the pc won't co-operate who do you call but the computer medic.... keep your same contact numbers etc and go from there. :2cents:

Ah ha! you don't get off that easy . Basically, in a small catchment area with a smaller, relatively sofisitcated demographic, cold calling is not going to be effective, especially when repeat business is the ideal .

I'll expand on rationale and methods at another time .

431296 2006-02-20 09:54:00 Wow.

I bet you feel better for getting that off your chest, eh Murray?
(Recommends cold beer & a wee lie-down. Or the beer, anyway...)

Oh dear dear Murray . . . . if you didn't spend so much time shagging around with a DIY operating system, maybe you'd make more cold calls!!

But you have got a good point about the relatively smaller cities Murray .

431300 2006-02-20 20:21:00 I am only sorry that I don't have the answer to Mets situation.
It's been interesting seeing you change from an agressive fellow, into to what I consider a brilliant wit with a great turn of phrase.
I thank you and you will be greatly missed by Cicero.

431302 2006-02-20 20:28:00 I think Mets has gone to follow his new direction and good luck to him. All this talk of how to get and retain customers is such a yawn. Customers just get in the way of work anyway :waughh: :waughh: dolby digital (5073)
