433158 2006-03-27 12:12:00 Personally I find some of the message headers as intriguing as the senders' names.

Composing something unusual & tempting enough to get the magic clicks surely needs copy-writing skills nowadays.
Here are some I've been almost ( but not quite ) tempted to open:

ridiculous family room
question tandem
ankle downplay
plainclothes parking brake

They do stand out among the spam crowd of obvious products, so didn't get the Delete button immediately.

(Anyone know where I can get a job writing these? It seems perfect for a former journalist...)

433163 2006-03-28 10:27:00 personthingy:
Simony means "the buying or selling of ecclesiastical pardons, offices, preferments or emoluments."

In other words, you can't buy yourself forgiveness for your sins or get the job of a bishop by paying for it.
(You may appoint yourself a bishop, like Brian Tamaki, but you'll probaby find longer-established branches of Christianity won't take your credentials seriously)

Cicero:
You must have a different dictionary from mine.

dolby digital:
You've hit the nail on the head. I've nothing to sell, alas.
Also, I doubt that my comp specs are up to sending out millions of spam emails at once. I'd have to upgrade.
Guess it's not for me, after all...

433165 2006-03-28 10:58:00 Google's too efficient on that expression, Tony.

First prospects don't seem to fit & there are many more...
I need more clues - or maybe an explanation?
Or am I being dumb tonight?
