| 432728 | 2006-04-22 12:08:00 | i'm on the 10 gig plan and i would be extremely happy to see the cap be increased to 20 gigs, even 15 gigs, and not have the speed changed. i think the speed is 256k. not the fastest in the world, and possibly not fast enough for online gaming or video streaming in high quality but for downloading tv shows, game demos, and open office it's fast enough for me. i've been over the cap for almost a week now and the meter goes back to zero on the 28th. the caps in its current state are simply draconian if you wanna do more than merely surf the web, msn, and other things that require little to virtually no bandwidth. and that 64k sucks big time. it might be unlimited download as much as you want, but it's just too tear-jerkingly slow and i've had many downloads simply hang and time-out coz of the slow speed. when you're on 256k or 512k I just don't see the need why you necessarily need to have 2mb or 3.5mb. but i can clearly see why somebody would love to see a cap of 10 gigs per month being increased to 20 gigs. |
