Works all the time

If you are using a Hotmail or Yahoo email address the buyers email host may be marking it as spam and so the buyer may be deleting without even reading. Was a gmail account. But if this was the case, how would they know what account to deposit into?
The email I sent had both account details and a request for address.

Will try your idea this weekend bob_doe then look at emailing TradeMe around about Wednesday (a week after the money went in)

431408 2006-02-17 21:48:00 Hi Tazz

You could place a neutral feedback asking for the address. This seems to get some people responding nice and quickly. Then when it's all sorted change it to a positive one.

431409 2006-02-17 22:09:00 Thanks for the ideas.. I did the "see what they are selling suggestion" and they were indeed selling a house and had a phone number listed. Contact was made via the phone; they had sent an email 2 days ago but it never arrived (??).

Thanks for the ideas etc :) Problem resolved

431410 2006-02-17 23:33:00 Email doesn't always work. It's handled by software which runs on computers and the bits travel through communication lines, in competition with a mass of spam. It's amazing that it "usually" works. Graham L (2)
