| 690590 | 2008-07-20 14:02:00 | audioacrobat videos are .flv files, so you would need a player capable of playing flv files (there's a number of flv players around to choose from) There is many ways to "record" the stream, but an easy method is to simply play the video and then go to your temporary internet files and find the flv file, highlight it, left click copy then paste it on your desktop or wherever you want to store it. ( the name of the video is not the same as that in the address bar - just look for a flv file from "audioacrobat.audioacrobat.com" If you want the actual link of the flv file, copy the "name" from the link location... (example video - www.audioacrobat.com - "WkG27n2x" is the "name") start the video stream, then close the browser window again (even a couple of seconds streaming is enough for the link URL recovery) Then go to your Temp internet files and look for a xml file of the same name - in this case it would be WkG27n2x.xml Double click the xml file (windows will warn about may be unsafe - its ok, just say yes to continue) and it will open in a browser window with one of the lines like this <track url="audioacrobat.audioacrobat.com there's the direct url for the video! paste the link in your browser and it will download (or play while it does if you choose) |
