690067 2008-07-18 08:25:00 You probably need a codec

690068 2008-07-18 08:33:00 OK Thanks. What does a "Codec" Do? PJ. Poppa John (284)
690069 2008-07-18 08:42:00 A codec is a device or program capable of encoding and/or decoding a digital data stream or signal. The word codec may be a combination of any of the following: 'compressor-decompressor', 'coder-decoder', or 'compression/decompression algorithm

Basically it one or a series of little control file/s that recognize the encoding on a DVD

690071 2008-07-18 09:00:00 You shouldn't need to do any configuring.
Just install it then run your DVD with whatever player software you have.
