690006 2008-07-18 03:04:00 Hi
Im Looking at upgrading GFX cards but am not sure what to go for, i am currently looking at this (www.xpcomputers.co.nz) but if anyone could recommend a good card for around $300 that would be a great help as last time what i thought was a good buy turned out to not to be a good buy as it was an older GPU and not enough pipelines and pixels and whatever else.
Thanks:cool:

690007 2008-07-18 04:07:00 That's probably the best card you're going to get for the money.

I'd be happy with it.

690009 2008-07-18 07:27:00 What a crappy website, the 'Details' section really didn't tell me anything about the card.

"# 956 million transistors on 55nm fabrication process"

So!? Does it do what it's supposed to do? Yes? Ok then...

"# 800 stream processing units"

What the hell is a stream processing unit?
