| 434738 | 2006-03-01 02:24:00 | Ah woosh has been "coming soon" for sometime now, years in fact. I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm using wireless to fixed point, so no roaming, to several loactions around hamilton using http://www.satlan.com I think wired country has a point of presence on the hospital too. So if you can see that, you can get hooked up with them. After that, if you need to be able to roam I guess you are looking at vodafone and telecom for UTMS, and T3G Personally I like satlan.. It's a small ISP, and you don't have a helpdesk.. but a help guy :D but they do a fantastic job. -Qyiet |

| 434741 | 2006-03-01 05:24:00 | cool, thanks. i'm based at the university, but theres no wifi coverage in our hostels :( and theres no LAN or phone port in the rooms. so i'm having to walk to the library to use the net (on my laptop, there are computer labs everywhere) but even on my laptopn, i can't check my emails with outlook, which i need to do, so thats y i posted here. i'll have a look at that site. cheers |
