just stumbled across this auction and thought it was pretty funny. i wonder if anyone will take it seriously. the website on that auction explains it if you dont understand

Welcome to F1 Geoff, but I'm worried you say you registered to subscribe to a newsletter. Pressf1 registration is not related to any of IDG's newsletters.

...and that was purportedly for a good cause...

In the end the seller was begging for bids and the seller comments outnumbered the questions. The funny TradeMe auctions that get my vote (but not my bids) are the seabed & foreshore and the time machine auctions.
