| 433813 | 2006-02-25 23:00:00 | There used to be a number you could dial to ring other phones in your house. Does this number still exist and does anyone know what it is? Cheers. |

| 433818 | 2006-02-27 00:01:00 | ...at first glimpse I thought this was gonna be a social question...getting engaged to onesself is a new facet that I don't think the poloticos have even thougth of yet...but given time and a few ..er...persons who want to ring and marry themselves...it might be a timely cause to start nowadays. | SurferJoe46 (51) | ||
| 433819 | 2006-02-27 00:22:00 | I thought it was someone trying to remember the kids' trick, where you mystify or downright annoy a friend/parent by having them answer a phone with nobody at the other end of the line. I'd forgotten all about that nonsense. With help from this thread, I've reverted to a juvenile delinquent long enough to puzzle a friend - briefly only - until I confessed. Now that honour is satisfied re memory, I'll go back to being a grown-up. |

| 433822 | 2006-02-27 03:37:00 | I have one of those, Graham. Available on loan for the packaging & posting cost, but I'll only lend the rusty old one. P.S. Not commonly called anything as fancy as that when in use on the farm. |
