433518 2006-02-27 20:09:00 Was the origional post copied from somewhere? Exactly the same spiel was in the Southland Times letter to the editor section today.
It's an e-mail that is doing the rounds.

433519 2006-02-28 02:42:00 It helps us with family trees
I would love to know how it helps with family trees as it is basically annonymous.

433520 2006-02-28 02:52:00 Don't talk to me about family trees. Last time I saw the family tree was about 12 years ago as they bundled me into the back of Landrover with a tranquilser dart sticking in my butt. Bonzo the Wonder Chimp (2952)

Don't tell me you are complaining? Sounds to me like it was the best thing that ever happened to you considering the amount and type of food you now consume each week.

433522 2006-02-28 03:50:00 Sure, the food is better. You've no idea what a drag it is to spend your days shoving sticks into termite mounds just to get a snack. But I miss the old country. I miss the clan. I miss the free ciggies the tourists used to throw me every time I flapped my lips back and grinned like a .... well ape. Do that standing by a tree with some zebras in the background and they say it’s cute. Do it while sitting in a cage testing hair care products and they say you've turned psychotic and pumn you full of prosac. Bonzo the Wonder Chimp (2952)
433523 2006-02-28 03:58:00 Well, I guess working for Vidal Sassoon would have a few drawbacks despite having the best hairdo in the office. :D FoxyMX (5)

quote:
The Public Records Act 2005 requires that census forms be kept as historical records. After 100 year census forms may be made available for research that meets the confidentially requirements of the Statistics Act 1975.

If you look at old census reports from England, you can find look up people and find where they lived, who else lived in the same house at the same time, ages, sex and occupation. All this information is handy when tracing your family history.
