Quite apart from your unwelcome to a first poster, what does Lock and B& mean?

Reading it "literally" Laura, Lock and Banned (B-and)?

am I supposed tobe laughing right now?Nope, just a good way to drum up more views of what is most probably the posters own auction. Pretty obvious with the "registered, posted thread spamvertising the auction, lied about the reason for registration, never posted again, logged off 10 mins after creating the thread" scenario seen here.

This one really does have some humour to it - the seller's product description and the questions and answers.

And yes, it does have bids, and no, I am not the seller or connected with him in any way.

434464 2006-05-05 04:07:00 Hahaha sweeeeet that's one of mine. And I'd like to add today I have an even better one I've just put up.

I do agree there are far too many weak supposedly "funny" auctions. I do tend to believe, possibly a bit arrogantly that mine are better than that.

434465 2006-05-05 04:25:00 He must have got the idea from a recent TV item where a guy in Canada started with a paper clip but traded for another item with an intrinsic higher value rather than selling it, then traded that item for another etc etc and has aims of ultimately attaining a house. rad_s4 (7401)
