It makes no sense to put down "New Zealander" because it doesn't tell them anything what-so-ever, they already know that. Agreed. The form should have Caucasian as an option rather than European. |

NZ born of European Decent is certainly the BEST answer, even if you have an issue with the terminology. It is a bit wierd that they have Australian without specifying an whether you are aboriginal etc. Heh, put whatever you like but in the end all you achieve is annoying some statisticians. Oh yeah, and last time, I looked England is part of the European continent :) |

So why not just ask: NZer of European descent or NZer of Polynesian descent? Seems to me they are doing their best to keep NZers and Maoris separate. |
