| 690340 | 2008-07-20 00:37:00 | Which one of these would you recommend for a low end gaming/decent workstation system, with decent upgrade options? Will probably be paired with a 5200+ X2, 4GB of DDR2-800, 8600GT, plus 3 SATA drives of various sizes. Will be running Vista Business x64, XP Pro x86 and either Ubuntu or PCLinuxOS. Features like eSata, Firewire and a Parallel port would be a bonus. Maybe moderately OC'ed. M-ATX Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H (www.playtech.co.nz) XFX MI-A78S-8209 (www.playtech.co.nz) Asus M3A78-EMH HDMI (www.playtech.co.nz) ATX Asus M3A78-EH (www.qmb.co.nz) Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 (www.qmb.co.nz) Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H (www.qmb.co.nz) Cheers |

In only chose the boards with those chipsets due to price, number of sata ports/dimm slots and support for AM2+ cpu's. |
