2006-02-28 20:35:00 | I think it is time I got a game controller so my children can enjoy an enhanced experience. I don't think we need a steering wheel. What do youse jokers/esses recommend?

2006-02-28 22:26:00 | I got a Logitech Gamepad, Winston, for about $40. It's the same as a Playstation controller, with analogue sticks, and works great on all manner of games. The design means that it is familiar to those who have used Playstations or similar in the past. Here's a link on Ascent's page: Logitech Dual Action Gamepad (www.ascent.co.nz)

2006-02-28 23:40:00 | I'd spend up to $120. The children play Zoo Tycoon, the Sims, and Age of Empires. However my 10yr son is enthralled with a Halo demo off a PC World cd and has completed it now. The kids are familiar with Playstation controls - of course. :D | Winston001 (3612) | |
2006-03-01 03:28:00 | None of the games listed would benifit from a controller, be it gamepad, joystick or wheel...They all work best with mouse and KB. | Metla (12) | |
2006-03-01 03:35:00 | This company is my suggested outlet for game controllers of all descritions, be in pad, stick or knock em over drag em out mouse and keyboards. And they can even help if you wanted to go way overboard.... www.vrconcepts.co.nz

2006-03-01 04:22:00 | Actually the best choice is Xbox 360 controller as MS designed these for the PC as well. They are likely to become the standard with built in setting in upcoming games (the PC really does need a standard so I am all for it, even thought it is Microsoft). Finding one may be the problem at the moment, but that will change in the comming months.
