2006-02-27 08:52:00 | Sony Ericsson K700. Primarily used for text messaging and email (a screen resolution of 220 x 176 kind of limits usability though). Some data usage, but even Opera doesn't cut down the size of pages enough to make it economical. :p | maccrazy (6741) | |
2006-02-27 08:55:00 | Bloody phones. You know what I want from a cellphone? 1] make and recieve calls. 2] let me play my own MP3 ringtones so I can annoy my co-workers. I don't want a camera. I don't want pixt. I don't want a bunch of cruddy games that weren't fun the first time round when I played them on coin-op machines in amusement arcades when I was supposed to be going to lectures (hey, it was the 80s and the Govt paid me to go to university, not the other way round). I don't want a spreadsheet, or an organiser or a mini-word processor. I don't want pre-emptive txt language which thinks it knows better than me what I want to say. I do want buttons that repsond when I want them to. I do want decent battery life. I do want it to be small, light and durable. But really, what I really really want are those MP3 ringtones so I can annoy people by having the theme from The A Team play when I get a call. So what do I get when the phone gets upgraded? A low (battery) life chunky POS with clunky buttons, a lousy interface and .... AND ... the one damn feature I wanted disabled because a certain mobile provider wants me to spend dollars downloading ringtones from the web. BAH HUMBUG.

2006-02-27 09:06:00 | No I don't. Unless you count the corpse of a cellphone out in the shed that a niece gave to me 3-4-5 yrs ago. I agree with bruce buckman. Man I don't even like electric windows in cars. | mark c (247) | |

2006-02-27 09:27:00 | yup, normally text and calling. I have a pxt fone but its so pathetic. Right now we're in the lame transitional stage. Maybe when phones have 3MP cameras and 30gb's of internal storage will i consider them worth the money.

2006-02-27 09:30:00 | Current phone is a spare I borrowed off my brother, Lobbed the last one in a handy bin on a whim, And the three or four before that one, and a couple went out the car window. Anyhow, I very rarely may make a phone call or send a txt, 99 percent of the time its so people can bother me with crap I dont care about. God damn Im intolerant..... :annoyed:

2006-02-27 09:34:00 | Heh, I loath mobile phones (and any bills thereof). Yeah it is a bit wierd, but most of the time I'd rather people took the time to engage the brain cells and write a sensible email. Wake me up when you can properly surf the web........
