| 691161 | 2008-07-22 09:03:00 | Hi :help: Whenever I play some movie clips that I got from friends recently WMP errors but two days ago they worked fine. But now when I'm playing them in WMP it comes up but waits a few seconds before playing, meanwhile aquiring code comes up in the bottom left hand corner where the usual "play" or "stop" is. After that the program errors and has to close. After closing I find in windows task manger that my CPU is running at 100% even when no programs are running, but using the "kernel times" I find that the CPU is running 100% for the process wmplayer.exe but only 3% for windows itself. But WMP is not running even the applications tab in windows task manager says it is not running. My processor does not stop running until I right click the process wmplayer.exe and select "end process" after that my PC is fine. I can not find out what is wrong though, can anyone help with me with advice. |
