691114 2008-07-22 06:23:00 Hi Guys

I have a small home network. XP running all OK with Zonealarm as my firewall.

I have just installed my laptop on the network and can open most files from the network that I want.

But I have two Microsoft Access databases that I cannot open.

When I click on the files from the laptop it comes up with

"Can't open file.. is outside your intranet or on an untrusted site."

Is this a Microsoft Access message or a Zone Alarm one ?

Any suggestions ?

691115 2008-07-22 06:29:00 Probably an Access security message. You may have to change the security options in it Speedy Gonzales (78)
691116 2008-07-22 06:39:00 Have you allowed ZoneAlarm to see the other machine?

(Open ZA>Firewall>Zones then see if there is an entry corresponding to the IPs issued by your router. For any of my machines to see each other I need to create an IP range entry on each PC).

Thanks for that, but as I said in my post I can see and open all other files, Word, Excel etc.
