The following occurs only when using Microsoft Word or Publisher programmes. When using Works, all seems OK.
Enter numeral "one" followed by the space bar and the numeral reverts to a 'seven' 7. A 'one' followed by a letter and no space is OK 1b. Or any other number and a space is OK. Or 11 is OK. These programmes have worked very well until recently. Have reinstalled the three programmes to no avail. Seems an unusual fault so would much appreciate any suggestions. |

Have you checked your auto-correction options within the programs? Maybe somehow a 1 got set up to be changed to a seven each time. Weirder things have happened. |

Thanks very much Jen. I did in Publisher as you suggested and it also automatically corrected Microsoft Word. Both programmes now OK. Had spoken to many people and a repair firm for a remedy but all had never heard of such a thing. So top marks to you and PC World. |
