690787 2008-07-21 03:29:00 Hi guys.
I need to display our website in our office, for customers to browse with good quality images on an lcd screen.
Do I need a descent graphics card for good site viewing?
(ive only ever had good ones, so don't know if cheapos are any good)

I'm probably going to just buy a cheap new pc somewhere but opinions are appreciated before I do!

Cheers

690788 2008-07-21 03:38:00 I'd buy a good quality LCD monitor first and foremost. beeswax34 (63)

Depending on how big it is

Dont think it'll matter what card you use. Just as long as the LCD has the connection for it

690791 2008-07-21 04:48:00 And a video output capable of driving the display at its highest resolution and colour spectrum (either integrated or a separate video card), doesnt have to be top end/expensive ($100-$150ish in PCI-Express or AGP8 should cover it), get a card and LCD monitor with DVI connections, supposed to be better.
Those new Dell 22" jobs seem nice.
This should do for the computer

(has a slot for PCI-E card if you need it).
