2006-03-02 08:55:00 | What did you think of the guy trying to sell the wooden computer on Dragon's Den tonight? I thought he was a complete idiot for trying to sell something so ugly in a saturated market. He can't compete with Dell on price & he can't compete with Apple on design.

2006-03-02 09:05:00 | IMO it was butt ugly! The wood panelling reminded me of the old American station wagons you sometimes see in movies from the 70's. What he was selling was essentially an LCD integrated with a case. Big deal - the Mac's had that in the 80's (remember the portable Mac's anyone?) and they now have much better looking designs with their iMax range. IMO the dragons are greedy and good on the inventors for standing up to them - especially the fellow with the plant self-watering system. The dragons were all tripping over themsleves to invest but they were too greedy! Just my opinion....:D A

2006-03-02 18:37:00 | It was very ugly and just didn't look like a computer to me, there is no way that he would be able to sell it against the bigies like Dell and HP. The whole show was good though :)

2006-03-02 22:11:00 | Good show, interesting ideas and interesting to see th epeople with their dreams. Also facinating was the last group with the golf club carrier who turned DOWN the offer of 100,000 (I think)

2006-03-02 23:00:00 | Me too! she said she was making 1100% profit, and had made I think 40,000 pounds in her last sale. I thought they were ugly clunkers of objects ...
