There's an Act or Parliament that says I must fill it in . I am comfortable with providing our government with details so that the ionformation may give authorities a better idea of how to develop the country I live in . I am not anti-authority, and see no real reason personally, to be . Your mileage varies of course, however those who continue to do things how they believe it 'should be', must accept that they haven't helped themselves, possibly their business' (and financial future) or their fellow country-people . It's the same really as those who refuse to vote . I'm suprised Creighton hasn't put a submission in to the Govt about his ideas for the next census, maybe you two can work together on a submission? :) |

As for laws telling me how to behave, I behave because I'm not a scumbag, not because the threat of penality hangs over my head, enforced by power tripping hall monitors hell bent on revenue raising and dictated by failed lawyers with the mindset of three year old's. I do not need a law to stop me from killing someone, Though if I was caught in circumstances where it was an action that had to happen, Then it would happen, law or not. Like wise I do not need a law saying I have to fill in a form, If they want it filled in so bad they can sit down and fill them it out themselves. having said that, The form will be filled out, But I wont be telling people their personal views are a distortion of sucking at life :thumbs: |

A number of years ago I knocked over a gang member from behind, He was in the process of raping the daughter of a work mate, In 3 seconds flat the guy decided I was dead man, I was attempting to drag the hysterical girl into my car while he came rampaging after us with his knife drawn, his "mates" came to see what the noise was about and they all started attacking the car, smashing the windows, trying to get at me with fists, bats and knives. I got the hell out of there and they gave chase , I only lost them ten minutes later when they crashed, I drove an hour into the country side and waited till morning, at which time I delivered the girl back to her parents. Now, what would have happened if I hadn't made it off the section, or had been caught? |

I met someone once who did surveys, census etc and they said if someone hadn't filled out the form properly half the time they would put in what ever they thought appropiate. So what use are they. |
