690658 2008-07-21 04:32:00 I used switch (www.nch.com.au) a while ago, worked great, but only for a month, or something, the you have to pay for it. But if he just has a bunch of files he wants converted, not an ongoing thing, it will be sweet. Hopefully they haven't changed it so it will only do the first 30 secs of each song, or something silly. :rolleyes:

And yeah, if he's ripping from CDs, change the settings in WMP (Tools, Options, Rip Music) to MP3.

Really? I've had the free version for years and no problems and no expirations.
