My son project managed the building of the track and bridges around the lake, and he and his wife were married near the peak indicator just up the road. Aoraki-Mt Cook and Tasman loom over the skyline. Lots of amateur photographers go to the lake in the early morning because if there is no wind on the lake there is a perfect mirror image of the wee fellas on the skyline. This pic seems to have been taken from a reasonable height above the track. |
