| 435325 | 2006-03-04 07:32:00 | I haven't seen anything on sharechat yet (not that I look that hard) but an interesting concept A In the Telecom thread on Sharetrader www.sharetrader.co.nz Telecom could be nationalised but at extraordinary cost to the taxpayer who would have to pay for it. And we'd see Telstra, Vodaphone etc bail out of NZ in a big hurry. Can't compete with a government. At this point might I just mention Air New Zealand. This business has lost literally billions of taxpayers $$ and yet the government are looking at putting more money in again. So I'm not keen to see Telecom nationalised. |
