| 690998 | 2008-07-21 23:49:00 | For info, daughter running Vista sent a G mail to me midnight 20/7, it had not arrived by 8 pm 21/7, found it in my inbox 10am 22/7. The message is, anything urgent, think twice about using G mail. Noticed Mailwasher had marked it as spam, all it had was an attachement doc file, for printing. | FrankS (257) | ||

If you want a bit more info on how the email / internet works have a look at This video (www.youtube.com) Its animated, and aimed at a workplace - its 13 minutes long, and old but the basic's work the same today - If you have the time, look and you will wonder how anything works at all. Edited: At a bout 7 minutes it explains what may have caused a lag in the mail. |

Yeah, I'd agree, I actually find gmail to be quicker than my Orcon address some of the time. Never had it lose a message, or take ages for it to come through. Never used Hotmail or Yahoo so wouldn't know about those. |
