This ain't supposed to happen; www.imagef1.net.nz www.imagef1.net.nz www.imagef1.net.nz This ain't a snow pix...but I am using it for a desktop right now..pretty, huh? www.imagef1.net.nz |

| 437763 | 2006-03-13 04:10:00 | Beautiful desktop pic. I read somewhere, that the apparent increase in the moons size, or rather the apparent increase in angle it extends when near to the horizon is just that...only apparent. The size change is an optical illusion, measurements show the subtended angle doesn't change, though that is hard to 'believe'. |

| 437764 | 2006-03-13 05:18:00 | yeah..it's a matter of having something to compare it with in the sky...but when it's near the horizon, the mind can see the size from that point of view and can assume it's mass...just an illusion.... | SurferJoe46 (51) | ||
| 437765 | 2006-03-14 05:21:00 | And look at the UFO, with its invisibility zone turned on. Of course the invisibility isn't perfect, it is lost when you look through a mirror (or a water surface). Vampires have it the other way; they can't be seen in a mirror. :D | Graham L (2) | ||

| 437768 | 2006-03-14 22:39:00 | Will the F1 upload site permit one that size?.....I didn't try yet...but will after I get home Thursday... The Max file size your can upload to image f1 is 10000KB so if the image is less then 10000KB or just on 10000KB & its 1024X768 then imagef1 should accept it Hope this helps :) |

However whenever I got homesick for Scotland I just used to imagine the slush (half melted snow) seeping through my shoes at an Edinburgh bus-stop and magically my homesickness disappeared ! ;) Misty PS - nevertheless ---- enjoy while you can !!!!!! ;) |

| 437770 | 2006-03-15 12:23:00 | So that's why you didn't move to "the Edinburgh of the south," Misty. We do slush here in Dunedin every so often, but it doesn't last long. My Central Otago patch is the place for really picturesque snow pix, though I've stopped taking them by now. There were only so many artistically-framed pieces of old machinery under snow or stolid sheep that my relatives could take. Boredom obviously set in after a few years... By the way, where in Edinburgh did you live? One of those areas which has a namesake here? |

Not having a lot of pixels seems to add a strange value to the shot....it was taken on a tiny little "spy-cam" that only holds about 9 pictures...but it is very small. I think the pixels count up to .8mp. :D |
