| 436762 | 2006-03-08 12:43:00 | Does anyone know about the panasonic SV-AV30 and its mp3 playing abilities? I bought one in japan a while back, its a digital camera mp3 player all in one, but I've never been able to get the mp3 function to work. Apparently it needs a version of real player called, jukebox, and this is almost impossible to find, ontop of this I'd need a serial anyways, which is crazy because the software can only be used for the camera range anyways... also I can't just drag and drop mp3's onto the SD card, as the player wont read them, and they also need to be AAC or something?? Does anyone know of any way i am able to get this to work? I've scoured the net for a whole day, thus falling behind on some major assignments, as this is sending me crazy I need to solve it! HELP! :waughh: |

| 436765 | 2006-03-09 05:35:00 | Good news bizzack! Just like yourself, I also bought one of those cool little SV-AS30s while I was in Japan last year, and I have spent a lot of time playing around with it . IMO it is a fantastic little gadget  You say that you can't get the MP3s working? First of all, did you buy it with all the stock accesories? I mean the CDrom and cradle etc? You need to have it sitting in the cradle with the charger powered on and the USB connected to your computer (for some reason or other, which I forget at the moment, drag and drop onto the SD card itself does not work as you already know) . I think from reading your post that you dont have the CDrom? You really need a copy of SD - Jukebox Ver . 4 . I am happy to copy it and send to you in the post if you PM me your address . You will need to use my serial number too, but I dont think that will be a problem since I havent knowingly registered it online or anything . Another cool thing is that although it is not mentioned in the manual, these little cameras are also capable of playing back almost any TV shows, movies etc . that you have on your computer  All you have to do is download a Panasonic program called SD-Moviestage Ver . 2 . 5 (I found a copy on another forum somewhere that I have unfortunatly lost the name of, so I dont know if I can find it again or not . Anyway, I can send you a copy of that too if you want, though you would probably need the instructions from the forum regarding conversion techniques . ) The compression is really good . Even low quality is very watchable and takes up a very small amount of memory space . The good news is that once you get the MP3 to work I am sure you will be very impressed with the sound quality . It blew away my top of the line Sony MD player walkman that I also bought (and have since sold) while I was in Japan . ;) Now, relax and get back to those assignments!!! :p |

| 436767 | 2006-03-21 01:25:00 | Hey, I have the same problem of my jukebox not working :( I bought my sv-av30 about a year or two ago and everything was working fine, until my computer crashed. I had to wipe my hard drive, and there went my jukebox. Now I can't seem to re-install it, it keeps saying that my serial number is invalid. Which is weird, since I'm using all the original CD's, numbers, etc. that I used when I first installed it. I really want to change the music on my device, but I can't unless I get that jukebox working. Please could you help!! Thanks!! | LDMonstar (9942) | ||
| 436768 | 2006-03-21 01:47:00 | When entering registration codes, be careful with 1 and l, 0 and O (o), 5 and S ... It might also be code sensitive (A and a). Punctuation might be needed. If you are loading the same CD and the original code, it should work. (Unless it was time-limited :( ). |
