| 437772 | 2006-03-16 08:05:00 | So that's why you didn't move to "the Edinburgh of the south," Misty Not quite correct Laura. I did move to Dunedin for my first five months in NZ then reckoned that it was not much warmer than where I had come from ! I had lodgings in (think it was High st -- will have to check and come back on this). Certain though that I worked for McKintosh-Caley in McLaggan St. They were toffee makers and I did accounting in those days. By the way, where in Edinburgh did you live? One of those areas which has a namesake here? In Gorgie - not far from the grounds of the football club "Hearts" (Heart of Midlothian). I used to go dancing at the "Fountainbridge Palais", the same place as Sean Connery, though I can't recall ever seeing him there, he would just have been one of the faces !! Misty   |

I agree.. very nice picture - would be great in 1600x1200 at least, and for those of you who like high resolution wallpapers, here (www.interfacelift.com)is a great site where you can download as many as you like for absolutely free :D |
