| 692380 | 2008-07-26 09:30:00 | My computer often auto-restarts even in the midst of switching on or after it boots and the desktop screen appears. This can happen up to 10 times before the computer is finally stable for usage. Also, sometimes when i switch on the power, the PC is running but there's no output on the monitor. Is this a problem with the motherboard? :waughh: |

| 692383 | 2008-07-26 10:08:00 | Hmm ok once you get back into Windows, right mouse on my computer on the desktop / properties / advanced / startup and recovery / settings. Untick automatically restart Would you say its crashing when it restarts?? If it is crashing, clearing the above may bring up a blue screen, next time it happens. And show some numbers and maybe a file. Thats causing it Or you could post a hijackthis log, its in my sig below. Install it run it then click on scan the system and save a log. Copy and paste the log here |

| 692384 | 2008-07-26 10:09:00 | Welcome to PF1 - try starting the PC in Safe mode, see if it reboots as you describe. To start in safe mode, when you turn on the PC, keep taping the F8 Key, when the options appear using the arrow keys select Safe mode. Let us know what happens. |
