439648 2006-03-21 08:10:00 You need to ring them 3 times, progressively getting snarlier each time. Then they finally stop.
Until the next book you get...

They should get the message. It worked in my case despite the contact person saying that they couldn't remove me themselves. I think they managed to contact someone who could...
BTW, I never bought anything off them so they harvested my address from somewhere else. This pi**ed me off no end and I let them know this in no uncertain terms.

My wife bought an Atlas off them a couple of years ago and ever since has been receiving mail at least twice a week. None of it ever gets opened. Straight into the rubbish bag. Haven't told them to stop just ignoring them.
Going slightly O/T.I've finally got dell to stop sending me their spam. The solution. About 50 identical e-mails sent off one after the other. I finished by saying I would double the e-mails everytime i got their junk. Seems to have worked.

439652 2006-03-21 23:44:00 Just return their mail saying, "No-one at this address living here"

Failing that, you can always send them YOUR junk mail. Lets see them do something about that.

Just put some junk mail in there and send it back.

I got a letter from a finance company recently with my street name spelt incorrectly. Funnily enough, the only place my street name is spelt incorrectly in that fashion is on my car registration, with I've never bothered to correct. I don't recall giving NZ Post permission to use sell my personal details ....

The vehicle register is a public record. Anyone can get details by providing plate number or VIN and paying a fee. Is the finance company interested because your current car looks on its last legs :p
