I do not have bluetooth or IR nor a memory reader (USB).

Is it possible to copy a Mp3 file to the phone's SD card via using my Canon A510?

The device does not pop up as a removable drive.

Or is the only way to purchase a bluetooth transmitter and transmit directly with phone or use a USB SD memory card reader?

438709 2006-03-16 08:00:00 What happens when you plug in your Canon A510?

Does it have it's own software to deal with file transfer?

If it does, I would suggest un-installing that software and then try plugging it in, I'd say it would come up as a generic USB drive that way .

438710 2006-03-16 09:27:00 Canon cameras don't appear as drives but as Cameras with removable storage. You can only transfer JPG files. Using the camera you won't see other file formats on the SD card. PaulD (232)
