438210 2006-03-15 06:52:00 Apple aren't likely to back out of a whole country just because it is legal to crack their DRM in that country, but the recording industries might decide not to allow their music to be sold online in France Greven (91)

I find that unlikely, as France would be one of the biggest markets in Europe, and online music is becoming a big money earner for the music industry... just because their music isn't as secure surely wouldn't mean they'll stop making it available at all?

438212 2006-03-15 08:35:00 If the rest of the recording industries are like the RIAA, logic doesn't come into the picture. they will continue to sell DRM CDs even though it is a futile effort to restrict legit copying. Greven (91)
